Canon’s Image Capture Solutions Team had been working with Linx since 2009 to build and manage their dealer portals. Canon’s Vertical Marketing Team approached Linx to help create a new program targeting the key active vertical segments within the healthcare and legal markets.
Strategy
Linx created a Dimensional Direct Mail Program linked to the Dealer website focusing on innovative document management strategies by using both multi-function printers and dedicated scanners in conjunction to improve business processes and improve customer/patient service.
Solutions
The program consisted of unique custom puzzles illustrating the main messaging around solving document and data management issues. Prospects were linked directly with dealers to drive appointments. The dealers were provided telemarketing support, informational landing pages and a reporting module along with the dimensional program.

Canon's products were a part of the campaign, but the value-driven messaging and vertical segmentation were the focus. We used images of corporate workers and doctors to target law firms and medical facilities respectively.
Email Campaign
The email campaign developed for this dimensional direct mail program were scheduled to arrive the same day the mailer boxes were delivered to recipients. We crafted messaging to communicate the benefits of Canon’s Multi-Function Printers and Scanners working together, as well as how to solve the puzzles.

The Healthcare Program and the Legal Program helped to engage the Canon dealer network and raise awareness of the product offerings and the value of utilizing multi-function printers and document scanners in conjunction. Linx was able to provide Canon’s dealers with a streamlined process for managing leads within a custom-built lead management dashboard.
