As a new company launching new food products, Brooklyn Food Group approached Linx to create a brand identity, as well as packaging for their NYC made bagel line.
Strategy
The unique aspect of BFG is their ability to offer the favored taste and tradition of New York City bagels anywhere in the world. With the rich history of New York City bagels and the city itself being a well-known center for some of the best tasting and finest quality food, Linx knew it was imperative to incorporate elements of New York City and an old-fashioned feel for the brand logo and packaging designs. We leveraged elements like the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge to bring the vision together – and, we even incorporated “New York” into the brand positioning.
Solutions
Linx started with the creation of a logo and positioning line that best represented the brand and applied them to brand identity materials such as business cards. Then, we further developed that theme to create bagel packaging designs for a full line of flavors, following strict guidelines and precise details required by the government for food products. Linx then went on to design a van wrap for the cmapany’s vehicles that mirrored the bagel packaging utilizing hi-res imagery and simplified details necessary for large-scale printing and vehicle wrap installation. After the bagel products entered the marketplace and were so well recieved, we helped BFG open their first retail location with a full interior and exterior retail store design, as well as secured materials for installation.

Brooklyn Food Group now has a presence in 1,800 locations and is seeing a tremendous growth in sales not only in the U.S., but worldwide.
